  • How different does this feel compared to Buckling Springs?

  • @shrumpkin Quite a bit different.

  • @guomaster That's how I type.

  • @guomaster Bull. A mechanical keyboard still feels a lot better no matter how you type on it.

  • omg haha, i thought you were wearing red gloves when i first saw your hands, then i realised you were just a shrimp.

  • >Redhands

  • I don't have the money to even think about topre switches

  • @SuperKittyPancake A very, very, very, very big nope

  • $350

    That's a big NOPE.

  • @guomaster Good thing he isn't typing on a mechanical keyboard.

  • @MrNo0dZ

There is nothing wrong, as such.

  • @guomaster

it still doesn't defeat the purpose of a mechanical keyboard you pleb.

  • @BrutalTurtle only noobs bottom out on mechanical, even dome mechs.

  • @guomaster

    nooby

  • @galacticaphantome you sound like a semantics Nazi

  • @phototristan Well if you really get into it, technically Topre Keyboards like the HHKB aren't mechanical keyboards rather an electrostatic capacitive keyboard. Topre keyboards don't have mechanical switches like Alps or Cherry boards, but rather super high quality rubber domes with a conical spring inside of them to actuate keys before bottoming out.

I digress though, Topre shouldn't be compared with standard rubber membrane keyboard as it's in a class in it's own, but mechanical they are not.

  • I'm a Happy Hacker fan, some day will buy one, for now will enjoy the sound on here lol. They have the best sound to me

  • ear porn

  • @phototristan Cool! thanks for the reply!

  • @MotionArtsHD Yes it sure is. There's even a Mac driver which enables the eject key and volume/mute/power. I would indeed recommend it quite highly.

  • Is this keyboard compatible on a mac? I'm a web designer and i need a good keyboard to type code on for hours straight. Would you recommend it?

  • Aah...another keyboard vid! More! Love them.

  • @felixduhcat89 Well, I'm still getting use to it since it's so small and doesn't have separate arrow or F keys and the layout is a bit different for some of the keys than I'm used to. So far so good though. I really like the feel of the 45g keys and the overall form factor of this keyboard so far.
