Modern Warfare 3; I missed the helicopter butttttttt.....????

Surprising Stat: 1 out of 6 people who play Black Ops may find out that a tomahawk to the rotor of a Helicopter can take it out in one hit.... but I failed to do it even with a Grenade Launcher here (To help get the Recon Pro Emblem) but I seem to hit something??? I looked around in the game and I followed the Grenade round and it went out of the game without hitting anything. I also did not have martydome or any left over explosives from my last death..... Huh, this would have never happened in Battlefield 3 but what are you gunna do with one of the worlds most frustrating multiplayer games of the decade. :) See if you can guess what actually happened here?
