Part 15 is Step 12, being careful when handling the engine and mixing up a tiny bit more epoxy and using it to seal off the 3 or 4 holes where the straws go into the engine.

  • hey, can i use hot glue? instead of epoxy...?

  • For some reason I thought you put 3 straws in...

Will it work with 3 straws?

  • @sciencetoymaker i am very busy when it comes to making things so making a detailed sketch and then using the glue on that would work better for me so what do you think?

  • @H4xorBoy anybody can make a video response. My feeling is that actually showing people exactly what you are doing is more helpful than sketches but it's your call.

  • @sciencetoymaker ill try but i dont know if i am able to though:( making this took forever

but if i made a video response showing just a couple of pieces of paper with this drawn on and then show what i did on that do you think that would work?

  • @forrest225 I see the "hit or miss" type sometimes. You might be able to even it out by experimenting with the candle position--more forward or backward.

  • @sciencetoymaker Worked out well, its a bit hit an miss on the power pulses, but I'm content with it for a first build. I may try again in a few days :)

  • @forrest225 JB Weld is a (high quality) brand name of epoxy. Hope it goes well.
