The length claim is limited to the bridges on the Alaska Highway.
The video speed is normal at this point in time. You may have had connection problems when you viewed the video.

The Alaska Highway starts in Canada. Dawson Creek, British Columbia is the point of origin of the Historic Alaska Highway. This bridge is located on the Canada part of the Alaska Highway.
