I used to Talk to God and not know who He was...Now I do.

Kānāi Dāsa thinking back when he was young and how he used to talk to something he knew nothing about but still talked. Now he know who he was talking to. It's nice to know I'm not crazy and that God was and is there listening to me.

@madman97064 If you have been watching the financial markets over the past few years you will see that the crash of the western society is taking place. The change wont happen over night but in places it will feel like that. We are going through a mini destruction of one age to an other, the Kali chakras to the Satya chakra. We chant mantras to purify the mind, we live a pure life 2 purify the body, we serve God with all we have and we talk to God in the mood that we feel most comfortable with.

@topbluffa1 The mantras are transcendental comparing them to something material is an offense. Chanting Kṛṣṇa's Name even in a joking mood is Namabhasa. It still has it's potency only it may be delayed. But this doesn't mean we don't clear up our misunderstood words.

rather thank chanting and singing words in a foreign language that you dont even understand id suggest instead everyone partakes in reading the holy scriptures and doing Bhakti and Karma yoga.

and mabye once you have learnt the meaning of the words and mantras chant them then they will have effect.
