2003 Nissan Murano SL

The Murano comes with a 3.5L DOHC V6 thats good for 245 HP. This model delivers the power to the front wheels through a CVT.

They're roomy & the seats are very comfortable. You will enjoy the sounds system in those equipped with the Bose sound system. Interior is well laid out & the engine is more than potent enough.

I've driven many of these & my dislike is the ride which can be harsh on rough roads. Some wind noise as well. What I really do not like is the CVT which makes the driving experience less engaging. The first few years of the CVT in these were trouble & Nissan actually extend coverage to 10 yr or 120K ( Whichever comes 1st ) in order to ease concerns. I also found these a bit lousy in terms of MPG, driven a few hundred miles with many & I never was impressed with fuel efficiency.

  • It's almost the exact same as an Infinity FX35

  • @vexviper Almost except the FX35 is RWD based, has a conventional automatic gearbox, more powerful, more luxurious, and the interior is a tad more narrow inside

  • You said the gauges aren't surefooted. Do they tilt with the steering wheel like they do in the Z and some Infiniti cars?

  • @2Kriss2Kross No, it's stationary. It just doesn't feel well connected to the dash is what I meant in the video :P

  • Re-Upload?

  • @talldude123 Not really, it's the original vid as I will delete the other vid because I applied the youtube video stabilization they now have but when you revert back to the original, it does this

  • @blacuraRL If u are asking me ... Murano looks modern even in 2012... Incredible, car is a beauty...

  • The styling on these, inside and out, has aged VERY well. Still looks very modern and relevant. Certainly ahead of its time. I liked the burnt orange leather interior (you could get orange cloth too!) because it was different and a conversation starter. My uncle has an orange murano with black suede/cloth interior. I love it, and enjoy driving it too. It even has heated cloth! Still running strong with 210K miles, and only needed to replace a wheel bearing. Too bad the leather in these is cheap.

  • i hate the gauge color

  • Drove an Altima a while back with the CVT it wasn't such a bad experience.

  • 2003 looks better outside than the newer ones.

  • @Intechdude300 It actually comes right off without much effort :P

  • Wow low miles, nice CUV!
