The Government has set in motion plans to transform Nairobi into a regional financial hub as it positions to tap into expected new investments into Africa. Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta has unveiled an 8 man committee to oversee the implementation of the project which will make Nairobi the regional centre of financial services competing only with South Africa and Mauritius. And as Denis Otieno reports the success of this project depends on the proposed technology city in Machakos that will provide the vital high speed internet infrastructure.
