Well i have been pretty slack over the last month or so and now i have decided it was time to get back into the routine of painting, drawing etc. So to help me get back in the mood i am going to do an artwork a day. I am just using flip chat paper and coating with gesso first. These artworks are meant to be easy and fast, they help me develop ideas, image combinations, colour combinations etc.

You look so sexy Gary. I love those sexy ass 70's glasses. I'm about to go through some strange times and I'll be without a studio for a while. I'm going to keep working via my sketchbook and digital laptop. Please say a small prayer that I'll keep the artistic flow and creation. Ambien feels really good. I envision taking a shower with you gary....lol

when I first heard this, all I could hear from all the noise around me was "lisa is a bitch"!

Hey Gary don't blame Mona Lisa's smile, blame the artist!!! ;-) Great video, as always!
What's up with the sunglasses?
Peace!

I really love this piece of work, even if it is simply a rough work, it is still very powerful. I really love the madona's head in contact with the blue, a bit like if her blood would mix with the ocean's all over the world. Really great stuff. Great idea to do an artwork a day. I do that sometimes when my daughter lets me. Great practice.

I like the idea of having "rough drafts" or experiment pieces for reference on major works..... I am going to start doing that, so thanks!

Did you see the artist that painted the image of mona lisa then lit it on fire? It was so awesome.
I am taking your advice and doing something every day so that I can have a catalogue of ideas to go back to.
P.S. I am obsessed with that song now!
