Sher Shah Suri was born in Bihar India however his lineage is also from the Ghorids (Shansab Family). He was a member of the Suri Pashtun Tribe from Ghor who's forefathers were the Ghorids and the Shansab family. Once again going back to Amir Shansab grandfather of Amir Kror Suri. Going further back to the legendary Sur & Saam brothers of Ghor.

Some of the notable names are Ala-ud-din Hussain bin Hussain (Jahansuz), Ghiyāṣ-ud-din Muhammad bin Sām & Muizz-ud-din Muhammad bin Sām. This Dynasty dates back to Amir Shansab who was the grandfather of Amir Kror (Shansab Family).
