@TachieBillano I also love it with vinegar but i nEver tried it with soy sauce and by the way Im also a Filipino

I just skin the fruit and eat the whole damm thing with a little salt. There's also siniguelas and duhat which I also crave somethings. Siniguelas are like little plums but less meatier than plums and has a larger seed but their pretty good. Actually they taste a bit more like sweet and sour cherries. The duhat is sorta like a large blueberrie or type of berrie except that it's as large as a cherrie and has a larger seed. It's good too.

Hi, are you able to ship some of these to Sydney? I'd be interested no matter the courier cost.
Hahahaha. That's NOT the way to eat santol fruit. (I should know, I'm a Filipino.) You eat BOTH the white flesh-covered seeds in the center (sucking it as is), AND the thick, super-sour yellow-orange layer of flesh surrounding it (eating it with either salt or fermented soy sauce). It's a fruit you eat when you're craving something sweet and sour, like when you crave German sauerkraut.
