D su disco d 1990 THE PLEASURE AND THE PAIN
The Montreal music scene during the early '80's was vibrant, bursting with the energy of some of the country's hottest new sounds. Jean Marc Pisapia was playing with Men Without Hats when in '81, ...musical differences with the Doroschuk brothers led to him leaving after only a few months, just prior to the Hatless ones getting their big break. He was at home in Montreal writing some

Fantastic song! Timeless! This entire album is great.
Is there any videoclip for Inside My Heart?

I used to love the little 1/16th notes he tosses in on the kick drum at 2:24. It's stuff like that you just dont hear nowadays. Tasty tricks.

Thank you for posting this video. I have been looking for videos for these songs for a loooong time. Like many Canadian acts they were a big part of the college indie scene in the US. I am looking for a video for Shine Blue Lady if they did one. For those who haven't looked "The Pleasure & The Pain" is available on iTunes now with 2 tracks not on the US release CD. :)

Back in the 80's, I saw The box in concert a bunch of times. They used to play the festivals around the area where I grew up in Quebec (Lac-St-Jean). It was always a great show, Jean-Marc P. is an excellent frontman. I think that pop rock bands like The box, had a bit more substances than the ones that are popular these days.
Also, I remember seeing them twice with the same great back vocalists, one blonde who's name was Sylvie Daviau and a gorgeous brunnette who's name I forgot.. :)
