  • Scott is the most underrated guitar player out there, as well as his original band Max Creek. Compared to a band that fills arenas, like "Phish" who has enjoyed tremendous fame, Max Creek can outplay them any night, and Scott could teach Trey a thing or two.

  • I just found out that Scott Murawski's son goes to my school and I run track with him. I never knew that his dad was the lead guitar player in Max Creek until a few days ago when we were talking about the grateful dead and he mentions how his dad met them. Now I am honored to be able to know him.

  • I miss you guys and all my fellow creek freaks from the 90s...

  • i used to watch these guys play at the original livingroom back when i was in my teens they are awesome now just like they were awesome then so really no competion they are who they are as phish is they do what they love both bands they just play the same genre so be it i love both bands but dont caompare they are not the same cuz they are all seperate individuals ....

  • max creek missouri had a band by the same name, back in 79or80. played in rolla missouri at the attic bar.

  • Saw them when I went to U. of Hartford 1980-1984. Awesome back then.

  • Ugh, these guys are nothing like Phish. Why do people compare. I'm big into phish but I don't dislike Max Creek. Get over it people... it is all good music whether or not one person receives fame. Fame is sometimes just a fad of popularity.
