Also the conflict in Darfur is a political conflict within the Sudanese Islamic party that saw Hassan al-Turabi vs. Omar al-Bashir. Also JEM is linked with al-Qaeda, Hassan al-Turabi JEM's leader was a friend of Osama bin Laden!
