@ZenBarracuda The Academy has been doing a good job making it up to him. He got an Oscar for Crazy Heart and was nominated for True Grit.

@ZenBarracuda I don't really keep up with/watch the Oscars. Don't they have best picture, but also by "categories"? (comedy, Sci-Fi, romance, etc?) if not, they should. Jeff should have received best actor in a comedy. I don't how all that shit works. 1 thing I've always found pretty peculiar though....is that often the "best picture"/award winner.....is seldom a biggest "box office" hit. Weird. if it's such a good pic & generates so much hype/buzz, why doesn't it equate into $, ya know?

@gjc82071 lol. My comment got 89 approvals. That's great. I think the good people who hand out the Oscars know in their hearts they should have acknowledged The Dude and given him a statuette. It would have really tied his room together.
