Yeah thats a classic too, black is slimming. But the hard part I confronted was testing whether people can guess someone's 'width' I guess?

I think the experiment doesn't work, which makes your result doesn't work. I notice the 3 charts you're having is averaging to 6' 1.

5'10 - 1

5'11 - 2

6'0 - 3

6'1 - 3

6'2 - 3

6'3 - 2

6'4 - 1

Thus you had more people choosing either the most or middle(mean) of it. Unless you gave those charts for each shirt, then those aussies must be really smart

I like black because it's a classic color and just looks good with other colors.

It' lets the other "colors" I wear have "room" to be elegant on their own and then I don't have to feel overwhelmed.
