an atheist challenge to christians and jews. read the koran if you are a moslem. and the torah if you are a moslem.

the holy bible, we are told, was inspired by the one true god. the the holy bible is the word of god. the one holy book. up until jesus christ comes along and rejects the laws of moses and said heaven was at hand. then paul put in the laws of moses to hide jesus christ away again. for a couple thousand years.

until people could read. and works could be published for all to read.

the internet is a brilliant invention. especially if people take time to read and listen to what is being said. and there is much of it.

and it all says a similar thing. there is one message. all you must do is read and listen as much as you can. do not watch tv. be careful when you watch movies not to be sold the hollywood version of the moses laws.

it is everywhere. read the original.

take for example stephen's explanation to the priest before they stoned him. it was the story of moses and the rest of them and it left out all the gory details.

the torah is a horror story. it really should not be taught to children. but adults who say they are christians or jews or moslems. almost any western religion.

must read the bible. it is your law. the law of moses. it is a challenge from some of the atheists.

and most people already have a version of the bible in their home.

i recommend, for the old testament, the holy scripture, the resent translation by the jewish publication society.

king james is pretty but not easy to understand. that was done on purpose. so credit is due to the jewish publication society.

i don't know about the koran or quoran. as for the new testament, the good news bible ain't too bad. and they have some of the not included stuff. not great writing and i think that was why they weren't included.

anyway, have fun becoming an atheist. you'll see on your trip that you where a death cult worshiper and are just now seeing some light.

and what is the challenge? to read the Bible? I have read it. Violence where darling? I dont see violence, I only see God judgement for evil people, assigning ISRAEL to do the job. and well they failed to do it..are you atheist, and you believe in a "ELITE" ruling over us for thousands of years?

@lisheva1 to reread and try to understand the story in the story. and no, genocide is genocide no matter who says for which god they do it. it is propaganda to say the children deserve to be murdered because they don't follow your creed.

and yes, there has been dictatorships all through our history. brutal.

God is not a person but spirit i think you need to do some research or something he did not die on a cross to condem us but teach us and give us the holy spirit and everlasting life he loves us so much he forgives us for our sin without judgement as long as it is in our hearts we are suppose to love everyone just like jesus did. us living by flesh we where born to sin and live with the snares of the devil as flesh but with free will that god gave us all allows us to welcome god into our lives

I read the Bible, I became an atheist. My faith was cured some 11 years ago. I don't miss it at all.

My personal favorite bible verse of all time is covered over on my channel under The Rape Challenge. All I do is ask people to denounce forcing rape victims to marry their rapists. I've been trying for some 5 years now, but not one Christian has been willing to take up the challenge.

My second favorite Bible verse is the commandment to chop off your wife's hand if she saves your life.

@519jamie Well that's the problem with the Bible: is completely incoherent IF you pay attention. For instance is true what you say "God is Spirit"(John 4:24 ) but on the other hand you can see that "Then God said : Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness..." (Genesis 1:26) or even "A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God" (1 Corinthians 11:7). I don't see why is so much confusion in a God's inspired message.

@carolineislands Atheism is a religion and belief in itself. If he were to lack religion, he would be an agnostic.
