11/13/10 CENTRAL CASTING CALLED ME ON VETERANS DAY ...

...gal asked me if I was interested in being in a "museum scene" on a show called "How I Found My Mother", which I haven't seen. I was surprised they called...haven't heard from them in ages ...since Lizette called me back around 1998-99 for an Arnold Schwaarzenaagr film called "End of Days" just after I finished my chaplain internship @ UCLA MEDICAL CTR . I didn't actually get in that film b/c of logistical issues ...& I didn't solicit jobs during or after that time...more intent on my Christian ministry endeavors ...but then this summer I was in the movie "MoneyBall" starring Brad Pitt & Philip Seymour Hoffman ... I was in the background @ a Dodger Stadium scene (if they use it) ...so I started thinking maybe I should go back to central casting & update my photo ...& so I did but didn't follow up ..most people actually call the otline every day & seek jobs ...I have done that yet...but this gal called me. & said they needed somebody who "looks rich" (whatever that means) or who can "act rich" (hmmm) ..apparently she thought I had that "look" ..(ha ha) ...why ? b/c I. wear a blue blazer & dress pants most of the time ? oh yeah,..she said I had to be either clean shaven or have a well-groomed beard...ha ha ..anyways..she didn't call back so I didn't get chosen..
