aaah, crap! i bet it takes place in a hunting reserve, with bred (not wild) pheasants.. You don't need a gun to catch them, you can do it with bare hands.. I once took place in a hunt like this, and my first time was my last one. I did never hunt in a reserve since then. The partridges were walking on the trails! No fear, no hiding! We also had to kick them to make them fly!
