@DairyNZ What does cutting trees into pieces have to do with filling the environment with toxic substances?
-
you could do with a shaper chain mate
-
@DairyNZ as for the environment, were doing more danage to it now, being on are computers!, but using engine/ motor oil does eat the bar out, cheaper to use the propper stuff ;-)
-
Fakt super video.
-
ma dute-n pula de zgarcit si uleiul il bagi din reciclare ?
-
yea and dont buy a husy they never start
-
@Etrician55 t is better than letting it sit, and think about it, buying some new oil from a company that mines it from the arctic is a lot worse than recycling some used oil. and way , all it is , is carbon
-
ok rule of thumb dont but anything that can cut down freaking redwood trees that close to your junk
-
@DairyNZ thats y the front of ur saw is black like my saw shop guy says pay me now or later used motor oil just dicks over a bar not chain as mucy but the bar abd there not all that cheap

I own 2 Stihl saws, a ms260 like this, and a 028 woodboss. I keep the ms260 on my atv for clearing and brushing trails, and the 028 for cutting firewood or bigger trees. Both of these saws will spray out 2.5 inch noodles from Manitoba maple and ironwood, if sharpened properly. Your sawdust is too fine, your wasting rpms, the saw chain should get bogged down from being too sharp and cutting faster than the saw can pull it. Use bar oil too as it sticks to the chain, motor oil flies off too quickly

Check out my other video 'STIHL ms660' shows the same saw on less sappy wood only a few days later. Trust me nothing wrong with chain sharpness, the wood in this state is hell to cut.
