And what about the electric cord hanging from his guitar? Sorry to break your bubble but nobody plays without amplification unless they are in their living room. Anyway its a nice video, just with the audio was better. Thanks for posting!

Don't mean to be a pain - but the cable coming out of his guitar would suggest that actually his guitar is electro-acoustic. So it is being amplified.
Sounds awesome though - and is certainly more acoustic than most music these days!

I was there and I've seen thus video atleast 100 times and it still sends chills Massey hall seats probobly a good 1000 people and he filled every corner of that theatre still makes me smile I got to see that thx for posting brings me back (Y)

So yeah a bagpipe would still be acoustic. No mic, or guitar amps were used, which is what I was trying to express with the title. Seems I just confused most people.

@sjps220 sorry say but hes going direct input so its sadly not the sound your thinking of, its using a pick up so its basically like an electric otherwise you wouldn't heard it from the distance your standing but anyway a brilliant song !!!

@cam2k4 It was quite a bit quieter than his other stuff, so I assumed it was completely acoustic. It doesn't really matter to me if it is or it isn't, so I'm just going to remove the mentions of acoustic from the video. I'd rather all the comments not be arguing this detail. Thanks for the polite response.

The cello? yeah, its acoustic too. I don't really understand what you're saying, but both the bass and the cello behind damien are not amplified as far as I can tell from this vid and my memory.
