I,m sorry. I really hope I didn,t offend anyone. I come from an Italian heritage and occaionally get comments about Italys role in the war. I feel embarrased. But that,s just me. Mabe I embarass easily.Anyways, I hope we never have to experience first hand anything like that again!

@isabellainnorway No, it isn't embarrassing being German or Austrian and watching Hollywood WW2 movies (well, it's "embarrassing" to watch any badly done Hollywood movie but that's another story ;-) ). I - and many/most others too - can't relate to the Nazis and hate them. I'm glad they lost the war! When I watch movies like this I don't identify with them and I almost started crying at some points (e.g. whem Bartlett and Macdonald were killed),

One of the men that were killed by the gestapo after they escaped was born, and raised not far from where I live. Rest in peace the Honorable 50 allied prisoners of war that were murdered by the cowardly gestapo.
