Over 700 peasants from all over Haiti convene every five years at the MPP Mouvement Peasant Papaye center in the Plateau Central to meet and address their concerns. Peasants are concerned with sustaining their agricultural way of life, irrigation,availability of seeds, educating their children, health care, among other concerns.
