"For them, for then, I must die... what I cry for.
Look at the pain around me, this what I'll die for."

@Cr0ssDressiNate Thats a retarded thing to say. Just blind love for Matt and statements with no basis. Tim is amazing live and has as powerfull of a voice as anyone out there. Just because you prefer Matt, doesnt mean you should downplay the talents of others.

Anyone knows the lyrics at 3:39??

MrNose-there is no doubt that Ripper is a GREAT singer-but was he right for IE? A big NO there. Just watch this vid for proof...See how he keeps handing the mic to the audience to sing at the same place in the song? That's called 'saving your ass' by us vocalists-he is having trouble doing what Barlow did. The albums done with Ripper are great-but I am so glad Barlow is back! He has a truly unique and identifiable voice. Ripper just seems to be a cover guy-which was proven by 'Play My Game' -ug!

I've seen Ripper with Iced Earth once, and Barlow with Iced Earth once. Both were really great :P Though, I have mixed feelings, it's great to have Barlow back and all, but I also miss Tim Owens in IE...

I totally agree with you ive seen RIPPER live 3 times two with Beyond Fear and once with Malmsteen and he was Mind blowing!!!!!
=)

not as good as Barlow? I wouldn't say that, both singers got their own style. Ripper made Framing Armageddon and Set Abominae really great. Those are albums that can't be sung by Barlow. Same as Horror Show, Ripper just can't sing it, the way Barlow does. And I can tell you, Owens is a great performer live! I was at this show :D

hes not as good as barlow though. Barlow has a much powerful voice and more control over his voice. He's also better life than Owens.

I liked Ripper on Framing Armegeddon (the album as a whole). He made it his, and he's got a style and voice that seems to fit Set Abominae.
But this song, just like his attempt at Dracula live, show why I can't commend him on re-hashing most of Barlow's work. His voice doesn't have the power or emotion to make this song sound right at all.

Yea, he was brought in as a replacement. he's never really been pursued by a band as a permanent singer. I wish the original Winters Bane lineup would get back together, that would KILL! and show that Ripper is one of the most talented and versatile vocalists metal has ever known.
The Ripper is such an amazing singer, have nothing but respect for him.

I wouldn't put it like that with Barlow :P Though I do think think that the way they fired Ripper was wrong (to say the least).
And I think that the songs they redid with Matt (on I Walk Alone) are lacking in comparison to Ripper's versions.
Barlow still rules though.
PS. This concert kicked so much arse, it's unbelievable. :D
