Aaron Sams and Jon Bergman from Woodland Park, CO have flipped their classrooms on their head. Now, kids watch lectures at home and come to class to do more experiments and interact with the teachers. They've also implemented a Moodle testing solution to verify that the kids have mastered each topic before they can move onto the next.

doesn't this make more work for the teachers?

I'm just wondering because i'm sure this would be difficult to implement on a wide scale

It does mean more work on the front end. The first year is hard, and you're doing extra work to get all of the videos in place. However, doing all of that work at first helps make it easier in the future!

What happens when the kids don't watch the video or say they don't understand it, don't you just have to reteach the lesson?
