Please watch this in HD(720p) mode.
Six month ago,I got The Retro Blackguard Classic by Glendale Guitars.
It's a 50s Telecaster style guitar.
Glendale Guitars has awesome metal parts for Tele and I love them.
The tune is modern swamp blues rock (???) :-)
This time,I used Matchless Little Monster I modified. It's for the lead part.
And for rhythm part,I used silver face Fender Princeton Amp. Because I needed tremolo sound like Pop Staple.
The speakers and mics were Axetrak.
The bass is Fender Custom Shop 59 Precision with Sans Amp VT Bass.

  • What axetrak equipment do you use here?

  • @inspectormorse For guitars. The original version. Not the latest one.

  • great vid! I was curious what mods were done to the matchless monster, great lil amps

  • @s2khawk Hi,Thanks. I referred to pre-amp block schematics of original Spitfire.

Comparing with it, I found Little Monster has too much overdriven gain at each tubes.

So I changed some its cathode resistors and tube connection.

And I got clean, sharp and fat sounds like original Matchless.

  • How much for this actual guitar?

    Very Interested!

  • @Sergioantoniox Hi. Thanks. You can find the price on the web site. Search "glendaleguitars" on google. I purchased it at the store of Japan dealer. So maybe more expensive than purchasing it in US.

  • They are rare on Ebay but worth $50 - $60 any day of the economy!!!

  • Hi. First time,I tried his bridge plate for my another Tele and I was very impressed.

So I imported his bridge saddles and vol knobs for my other Teles. His knobs are amazing. Thanks.

  • Very nice. I have the same type of guitar, #6 made. Dale Clark is awesome at what he does. If you dont have a Glendale, get ya one for an outstanding guitar

  • Is that Freddy Krueger playing the guitar? haha! Just kidding. Awesome playing and an awesome guitar!
