An incredible voice, and an incredible performance.
But I thot the whole point of Nouvelle Vague was to do songs in a way completely different from the way the original artists did them, a totally different idiom? And that the NV singer had never even heard the original, so their interpretation would be "pure" NV?
Does that no longer apply, or is this an exception?
