#1 Holiday Gift Wrapping Series 2011

Do you have strips of scrap papers from gift wrap rolls?
This video shows a fun and practical way to use scrap papers as the accent design of your gift wrapping package!
You can mix more than two colors or patterns, more or less stripes, etc...be creative and enjoy!

  • It's worth more than what is inside!

  • @top31142 It enhances the experience of gift giving and creates a more memorable holiday! ;)

  • where'd you get your wrappers and ribbons??? they're really nice

  • @stephanietwist Aren't they beautiful? My favorite papers too - I got them from Lee's Art Shop (NYC) last year. They do ship the items if you don't live in NYC. If I remember correct, papers are called "Flocked Damask" Gift Wrap Rolls (30" x 5 Feet) from The Gift Wrap Company. I also purchased the ribbon from Lee's Art Shop. You can also check M&J Trimming (also NYC). They both have a large selection of good quality ribbons ;)

  • @stephanietwist ***Sorry, for technical reasons, I cannot leave the web links in this comment. Please google both names for the web-addresses ;)

  • Hi everyone! Thanks for watching the first of my holiday gift wrapping videos 2011!

I also appreciate all your comments! The beauty of throwing ideas out there is so that everyone can improvise the way he/she wants. This idea came from all the left over scrap strips that I had from rolls of gift wrap...they're too thin to wrap anything else, but worked perfectly as accent papers! You can also do your own eco-friendly version by using newspapers, magazine pages or just make less stripes ;)
