sorry dude...just agreeing with you
-
@FREEKILL117 Yeah, that's what I said, didn't I?
-
ok retard listen here
starcraft came out in the very late 90's
warhammer 40,000 just celebrated its 25th year after its first appearance...
and just in case you're too stupid to do the math...warhammer 40k's first appearance was the 1987 Rogue Trader
-
tau have made small alliances as well
they seek peace quite widely(apparently)
but then again, whenever two sides are seeking the same solution...there'll always be something like that
-
@Unit987654321 The IoM is the most xenophobic species in the galaxy. Temporary alliances in dire times have existed between eldar and man, but nothing permanent. The most likely forces to forge an alliance would be tau and eldar.
-
@certainlymaybe They rolled '1's'
-
@Warlordalexi Yeah, what the fuck lol, they could have made quite a great alliance with the Emperor and fought along side the Imperium of man, instead they chose to kill everybody.
-
Watching this, and noting it's release timing, I feel like watching this was like watching the actions of a father trying to impersonate his child due to feelings of inferiority, Not dissing the game just it's cinematics and the choice to intentionally use the most "Starcrafty" races in their arsenal to sell games, no space orks in the trailer? Lame
-
I'm pretty sure the Space Marines, with their enhanced senses, could've easily spotted the Eldar, and besides if any one of them had just taken a peek into the high grass, they would've shot that Howling Banshee dead.
And how could the Devastator and the Eldar sniper miss their targets? They get centuries of training.
-
@MarinesRProud if you mean those "white glowing eldar swords" they are powerswords ...
i think on the tabletop they ignore armor completely so ... figure it out. The eldar are the older and more advanced race. And still things didnt go so well for them here ... that dreadnought was just to much ^^
-
The Imperium is no better than the Eldar though. Really the closest thing to good guys in the 40k universe is the Tau, yet even they do some screwed up shit once in a while.
It's called girmdark for a reason.
-
One of the best trailers i've ever seen
-
Eldar are more arrogant than anything. They see every other race as basically primitive and useless.
-
@Redfingers exactly... Stubbornness all around! \o/
-
@MarinesRProud The armor is ment to protect, though they have a hard time to stop powerfull force weapons that destroy matter and particales. The armor is perfect protection against orks or tyranids who arent armed with toxins or acids. The eldar has been around much longer then the humans so their weapons are very high tech compared to human techonolgy. Also the armor is ment as a life support system so it aint only for protection.
-
I have come come to destroy you
-
The unfortunate thing being that the Imperium of Man really is not much better....certainly not much more willing to seek out cooperative solutions to the galaxy's problems.
-
That is one big finger to put in such a small ear.
-
@Warlordalexi Times like this though, it's best to remember that Games Workshop made humans xenophobic for a reason...
It's not that they can't get along. They have in the past. However, both avoid one another for their own reasons. For the Humans, it's their turn to be on top, and the Eldar don't necessarily like that (neither do anyone else for that matter). For the Eldar, they need to leave behind one last legacy, and humans are tired of waiting...
-
@mistryeag1e The Dreadnought was dancing the Robot.
-
@KerianH True, 'Nyds go OMNOMNOMNOMNOM wherever they go. I offered one fries once. It proceeded to nom my hand as well. That's when I called down an Exterminatus.
But in all seriousness, I think, personally, that Eldar and Humanity could get along just fine, if, first of all, the Eldar would be more open to outside influences, and humanity would ditch the xenophobia and general hatred for change. It would be the first few steps on the road, to a unified front against the Chaos Gods...
-
also...how does a sword cut through like 2 feet of reinforced titanium jizzarmor ? I thought that armor meant something...not just oneshot headshots like gears of war...
-
:10 this video is invalid, everyone knows SPEHSS MEHREENS never die...ever...
-
1:39 BURN BITCH BURN
-
Ah. I know how much of a pain trolls are. Their grade school antics get under my skin.
Cool. i'll definitely check out the site for more 40K lore. I know i keep saying it, but thanks.
@Throthgar Their carefully laid plans to allow the deaths of billions to ensure the survival of a small eldar childs teddy.

Eldar would sacrifice ALL of humanity if only to save a few hundred of their kin... They are blind to the fact that they are not the only force capable of fighting Chaos and the other enemies in the galaxy...
What's more, it was THEY who created a Chaos God or did you forget Slaanesh? They never help out either, it's always lamenting their own fates.
They *could* have asked for help defending their craftworlds, instead of comitting blind genocide to 'save' their Craftworlds...
Blind, indeed.
