A wonderful Town with a beautiful, rich history.
Slowly but surely being eroded by the new Jeremy Kyle generation which used to be confined to few sink estates, but has successfully breeded into overspill and became a mainstream presence in almost every cranny of South Shields. Labour's generous tax credits have helped this breed become more affluent and both off licences and pubs throughout the town are reaping the benefits.
Our forefathers would turn in their graves. What a mess. It's true

Since you posted this,in 4 years Shields is now nearly a ghost town thanks to the poxy council and immigrants

I'm moving back home to Shields after being away too long,this time i'll spend the rest off my days here i love the place Colmans chippy,Ship and Royal,Marine Park,Saveloys,and the best seafront in the world there's no place like home i can't wait

Just loved the video, as I am a Sandancer, but left South Shields in the 80`s .
Nice to see Bents Park again, the Lifeboat, Beaches naturally, and King St. ect. In a lot of ways I wish I had never left!...

Lovely to see my home town again, miss the beaches they are awesome. It has changed but so has everywhere else. The beautiful buildings aree still there. I rmrmber my childhood on Marsden beach walking up the pier and to the Groyne. Even remember BBC it's a Knock out in the park!

I lived there for a year in 1965-66, and remember only a few things, in particular the beautiful public gardens on the sea front.

Funny how your typing errors occur in the same place of the same word "realy". You dont like those double Ls do you. How do you spell villages? You're a complete moron and you're making a fool of yourself. If you want to reply to this then I suggest you get a dictionary.
