I tried to comment a couple of times-- they don't seem to be appearing (maybe because I'm trying to put in a link-- if three show up at once, that's why). The company is a Swiss company called Zena-- if you Google "Zena peeler" it is the first thing to come up.

Nice vid.
Until I got to the 'plum vinegar' part.
Horror and shock at that.
Shouldnt it be RICE WINE VINEGAR?
I am gonna have to get over it and try the 'plum vinegar' idea maybe before I judge it as wrong.

Thanks for the comment!
The first time I tried making it, all we had around the house was ume plum vinegar. It was delicious (and friends love it) so I've used it ever since. If a discerning chef is too legit to quit, s/he can substitute rice vinegar in the traditional way.
Thanks for watching!

Excellent video, I can save my precious monies now lol.
Great insight on what would seem like a difficult piece to make. 5/5

Thanks for the comment! If nothing else, I hope this video shows how easy (and cheap!) it is to make! Its main ingredient is dirt cheap-- RICE!
Tabemasho!
