The first one hit but was definitely not worth an ippon. The second one if not controlled would have been lights out, if that's not an ippon nothing is! I am not sure the effects of the first punch, but the tai sabaki definitely surprised him.

sorry, just wondering, did the first zuki slightly stun him or was he just surprised/realized that was already ippon?
