What she sais comes from Tarot. If the four elements are in balance, emotions, intellect, energy and the material things you can connect to the higher self.
It's better to learn Tarot first + bring the 4 pillars of life into balance then to even bother spiritual things.

I agree. It is very very rare that my intuition has ever failed me -- however I often failed to trust my intuition due to my bias toward hard factual evidence.

It's a benficient force of goodness larger than the personal, however you conceive of it. It can be the goodness within you, your gut feelings, your inner knowing.Beyond the intellect, it is the still small voice inside that will tell you the truth about things. Give it a change. It won't let you down.
