How to make your computer perform better

Here are some basic tips on how to maintain your computer (PC or Mac) and make it perform better for a longer period of time. These are tips that everyone can do on their own. If you are interested in more detailed, technical info please let me know.

Also, if you have any tips or suggestions to share please feel free to do so. Im always interested in learning more myself.

U said about maintenance scripts on a mac that run automatically when u use your computer, I heard from apple that they only run automatically if it is in between the hours of 3 - 5am I myself always have my mac on all day and turn it off at night but before I saw this video I thought that if I was to leave my mac on all night it would run these scripts But you've just told me that they automatically run throughout the day,

So can topicm tell me if this is right or not?
