Video demonstration showing how easy it is to use the Rebel Star LEDs available from Luxeon Star LEDs. Available in all colors and brightnesses, Rebel LEDs are pre-mounted to a MCPCB aluminum base, making it easy to work with the LEDs using standard bench top soldering tools and supplies. • what is that power supply?

    can it be 9v.?

    I'm a beginner pls reply

  • @luckviewer777 The part shown in the video is a current limiting driver. You need to use this between the power supply and the LED to limit the current to a safe level. In this case 700mA. You will find more information about drivers on our website

You can use 9V. Any voltage that is at least 2V higher than the forward voltage of the LED should work fine.

  • Do you use a fancy low temperature solder, or will lead-tin eutectic work for connecting the power leads?

  • @hanelyp1 Standard lead/tin solder will work fine.
