After a 17 year break, Burning Tree reunited for a gig at the King King in Hollywood and we were there to film it. Marc Ford on guitar, (Black Crowes), Mark Dutton aka Muddy on bass/keys and Doni Gray on drums, three members who play together magically in that rare form of finesse and being able to listen to each other. If you like Cream, Zeppelin, Neil Young, The Eagles, Hendrix and other legendary music like that......you'll dig these guys.

  • Marc Ford is GOD

  • I used to go see Burning Tree back in the day. I was an 18 years old kid, and my buddies sister was friends with them, so she would take me to their shows. Looking back, I am one lucky fucker (Thanks Julie!!!). I wish I would have known about the reunion show, I would kill to hear the songs live again.

  • Doni Gray is in LA Guns now (with Tracii Guns). I wish him good luck and I hope they pick Dilana Robicheaux as their new singer. Dilana rocks.

  • I love you guys! I would love to see y'all play together again! I saw Muddy a few years ago in Houston playing some rockfest. That was cool! I miss going to see you with Leigh! What ever happened to her?

  • @debo4200 Hey which Julie was your friend's sister? Or rather, who was your friend?

  • What a great album, about time for a follow up guys :D

  • I used to go to just about every burning tree show at the coconut teaser on Sunset back in late 89-90. My cousin was their music lawyer so i used to party a LOT with the guys, especially Doni. Great times!! I remember Marc coming over to my cousins condo back in '90, when i was living there and we all picked up guitars and started jamming!! Well we played rhythm while Marc did EVERYTHING else. Excellent memories!

  • Wow what a flasback! I saw these guys one time in my life and loved them. Burning Tree opened up for the black crowes at a small club. I think it was maybe around early 1990.

Just happened to type their name in and can't believe they got back together.

  • someone should make an Anvil - like documentary about these guys

  • I love anything involving Marc Ford on guitar, good stufff!!!!!!!

  • It is so freaking awesome to finally see these legends once again. Thanks to the host and the production team for doing this. Burning Tree is THE ROCK sound of the 21st century, I wish they wont stop.
