What do Muslims believe about Jesus? Is he a prophet or more than a prophet?

Representing the Muslim perspective was Brother Ahmed Hamed: Brother Ahmed is a young scholar on Islam and comparative religion.

He spoke about the similarities between both religions and clarified the perceived differences among religious scholars in light of the Qur'an, Gospels and Torah.

Representing the Christian side was Pastor Thabiti Anyabwile: Thabiti M. Anyabwile is senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.

He was previously an assistant pastor at Capitol Hill Baptist Church (Washington, DC) and served as an elder at Church on the Rock (Raleigh, NC).

Thabiti has a strong professional and academic background in community psychology, with special interest in the history and development of the African American church.

He holds B.A. and M.S. degrees in psychology from North Carolina State University. He and his wife, Kristie, have two daughters.

When you go up against Muslims on a Christian Muslim dialogue about Isa (pbuh) in any case. The Christian is doomed to fail. It seemed like this Christian knew it from the get go and decided to waste as much time as possible. I can already tell the Muslim is going to come out stronger and wiser. I just hope in the upcoming clip the Muslims put him on the hot seat with the questions and answers portion.

no because Muslims dont consider Jesus to be God but ONLY a mere Man who was a messenger to the Isreal people. Over the years that past people created this lofty status that was none existent in his time.

Jesus Christ is not mentioned in ANY history text book whatsoever.

He's mentioned in the bible - nowhere else.
