The whole key to achieve a long lasting lens restoration, is to spent the appropriate time to the sanding steps, prior using the Lens Restore Creme.

Don't forget 1) to use LOW RPM on your drill and 2) to keep spraying the lens with water during sanding! Otherwise, you may produce deep scratches on the lens.

I will Reapply the U/V protection after a month, to enhance the Lens protection from the sun.

If you leave your car often on direct sunlight, it would be good to apply accordingly often the U/V protection fluid.

On this video, RX Finish Products were used.

  • Ok, well, tell me if this works on older car, but after watching an infomercial for a chemmical cleaner that did this, it took me all of about ten minutes (and i'm fourteen) to figure out what was in it. I tried it on our car of 5 years and it worked perfectly. To do the same simply take white viniger, salt, and liquid dish soap (equal salt and soap and twice the amount of viniger) put this in a container and mix well, put this on a cloth and apply to lens, then rinse. use a buffer if needed
