Samson C01U Microphone Q&A

http://archilanet.tk - READ-ME!!!-----PAYASA0ADiRiS Made a Video with a couple of questions regarding the Samson C01U Microphone. Luckily Archilanet has that answer to her questions. I am basically talking about people's reputations being berated by just how one sounds. She does sound good, but the problem is within her microphone. Two things are probably happening.

1. Volume is set too high
2. person is singing too close or loud to Mic

If the volume is set too high, or if you speak too close or loud into the mic, you will get something called "Clipping". Basically, clipping is a form of distortion caused by the overloading of the diaphragm of the condenser.

As for the Sonar LE, YOU DO NOT NEED IT. Basically Sonar LE is a Digital Audio Workstation. Although it may seem as a professional software, you will not be needing it. The reason is that Sonar LE software that is included in the Samson products are all trial. YOU CANNOT EXPORT ANY FILES TO MP3. INSTEAD, DOWNLOAD AUDACITY FROM http://www.download.com and search for audacity. Audacity is simple to use and its completely free.

I have the SAMSON-C01U mic,,,,and my problem is that i cannot hear my voice while recording is this normal??? im using the mic for singing....im trying to monitor my voice but i can't i really need your help.....hope to hear from you soon....thank you

The samson softpre program can let you know when you're clipping. If you're recording and it's clipping. Turn it down or lower your voice. It'll make your music recording sound alot better.

Hey i just purchased this mic and the sound is mostly coming out of the one side.. the left to be exact. i have no idea how to change it and ive tried lots of ways so if you could help me it would very very greatly appreciated!!

Thanks dude - legend... My prob was as simple as hitting up the settings in CP > Sound. Screw the software.
