Swaziland orphans struggle to study

More than 200,000 orphans in the African nation of Swaziland are at risk of being expelled from their schools.

They are supposed to have their fees paid by the government of King Mswati, the 3rd, but the government has not come up with the cash.

It's sad to see kids want to go to school so badly and be unable to when here in the US, so many kids blow off school, drop out for frivolous reasons, or show up daily and put forth so little effort that they remain functionally illiterate after 12 years of FREE public education. Even the very worst schools here give you the tools for basic literacy and impoverished US students are surely no more so than these kids. Maybe they need a lesson in priorities from orphans in Swaziland!
