As you must be aware that the rules of engagement for all soldiers in Northern Ireland were that we had to challenge them first before opening fire unlike the IRA who could murder without a challenge.

She was a very lucky lady that we were in fact following up intel that she was a target. All a long time ago but more bridges to be built than destroyed.

  • @andersonanthony1 Given the levels of British military collusion with unionist paramilitaries - not to mention the countless incidents of shoot-to-kill carried out by British forces - I don't think many people will be interested in buying what you're trying to sell.

  • why did she not mention that it was the british special forces that saved her life when she was shot?

  • @andersonanthony1 You mean the same forces that sat watching her house as she and her husband were being shot?

You occupied Ireland and still believe that you were here for another reason than imperialism?

Dear Christ, you are one disillusioned fella. Have the decency to acknowledge the attempted continuation of your empire.

A word to the working class: Arise!

  • Is this why the peace process works so well. The people on this sight are so full of their own importance and so bigoted that they miss the whole picture. lol!

It is such a shame that you have such closed ears. What is a shoot to kill policy? I don't it is feasible to shoot to injure. When you aim at a target you aim at the largest mass.

The shoot to kill statement was made by John Stalker who was the Deputy Chief Constable of Manchester who left the force on ill health after this investigation. He also has many criminal friends.

  • bernadette bless you --the Fannie lou hamer of Ireland!
