For example lets say Team A is a 7-point favorite against Team B. If you tease Team A 7 points the game becomes a pick em. If you tease the underdog Team B you are now sitting at plus 14 points in the game. Both selections must win for you to cash your bet. Bret Favre and the NY Jets are at the Oakland Raiders with the Jets a 3-point favorite. The Jets rushing defense is outstanding this season as the unit gives up only an average of 69 yards per game. The Jets pass rush is much improved this season and will put heavy pressure on JaMarcus Russell. The Raiders want Russell to throw more and that means the young QB will experience some growing pains in the process this early in his development. The Jets give you difficult looks on defense and it could mean a long day for Russell. Bret Favre makes big plays in the passing game in this one. Tease the Jets 7 points to +4. New Orleans Saints are at Carolina with the over under coming in at 44 ½. Look for head coach Sean Payton to be aggressive with the pass against the Panthers utilizing Drew Brees excellent reads. He does a good job of reading defenses. Plus look for Jeremy Shockey and Marques Colston back in the lineup. Jake Delhomme should be licking his lips against this Saints secondary. Points will be scored in this one. Tease the total 7 points and play over 37 ½.
