This years new addition to Line's all terrain freestyle collection includes the Chronic Cryptonite. At 92mm in the waist, the Line Chronic Cryptonite bridges the gap between the narrower Chronic (85mm waist) and the beefier Blend (100mm waist). The Chronic Cryptonite is a powerful, lively, all-mountain ski. It combines the fun feel of a park ski with the stability and control of an all-mountain performer. The robust maple macroblock core and slanted sidewalls allow for this ski to hold a consistent edge on even the most bulletproof east coast ice. The Chronic Cryptonite is an excellent choice for the park skier looking to take it to bigger jumps, bigger lines, and deeper powder.

  • with the lines having a width of 92mm can i use the bindings off my old 74mm width skis or do i need to buy wide break bindings and why?

  • It depends on the bindng. Most bindings now have removable brakes, and you can just order the size brake you need. You probably will have to get a bigger brake if your current ski is 74.
