"Pon" is an onomatopoeia like "pop" in English, and "pon-pon" means something is going on "easily" and "smoothly".
Also, "pon-pon" as a noun means "tummy". I guess, that's why the fat lady taps her stomach twice toward the end of the original video.
By the way, the sound of clap is expressed as "pan" in Japanese, and "pan" as a noun means "bread".Now you know what appears when Kyary claps her hands? ;)

it's funny how different most of these lyrics are compared to other english versions I've heard and if I remember correctly most of the time the lyrics are the same no matter what language but they are not these lyrics! heh still a good song and lots of fun though
