WWE Universe - RRyr1 - WWE Championship Extreme Rules Match Part 1

Royal Rumble Year 1: Storyline: WWE Champion Zack Ryder (tweener) has been WWE Champion for several months now after defeating Sheamus (heel). Currently he is apart of and is leading the tweener group The Shore which includes The Miz, Ted Dibiase, Santino Marella, & Maryse.

Randy Orton (heel) became # 1 contender by defeating Triple H (heel).

On the previous Smackdown, Edge dropped his World Title to Finlay, after former tag partner, Randy Orton interfiered to help Finlay win. Finlay got his title shot because the week prior, Finlay w/ the help of his tag partner Christian, beat Rated RKO by pinning Edge in a "fluke" victory.

On the Raw after that Randy Orton had a match with Christian. Orton was about to punt Christian in the skull and Edge came out and betrayed Orton. Orton however went on to win the match with an RKO, and later that night punted Christian in the skull backstage putting him out of action.
