I got this ball a couple weeks ago with the frantic and the V.G. Nano. This ball really grabs the dry boards and lets me open up the lane when its breaking down and hits really hard. I got a Arson , an elevate and an old dimension.

this will be my first Storm ball.
-
i will order my victory road tomorrow

@TheMusicjuice the victory road is stronger than you think I wouldn't use it on dry lanes the frantic would probably be closer to what you would want.
-
what ball would be better for medium dry to medium conditions. the new storm crossroad or the victory road?

@emandude Thanks

First game was a 248 then 2nd and third were 229 and 217

@runescapefanclub21 this is the same thing that happens to me.

@Captawesome3390 The Nano will definitely give you more backend and overall hook; however, that ball is of course for heavy volumes of oil. The VR is more medium, and perhaps, medium-heavy. The VR and Nano combo works pretty well for when the lanes dry up after burning them up with the Nano.

do you guys know how to make this ball way less snappy? i barely have any area with this ball on syntheic lanes cause its to snappy

@ArsenalBowler Take the surface to 2000 Abralon with no polish. This will make the ball read the lane more smoothly once it hits the dry.

I've only had this ball 2 weeks and love it. My question is this: Which is better placing tape in your thumb hole or on the back of your thumb?
kevinx45 11 months ago
@kevinx45 It's a matter of preference really. Putting tape in the back of the thumb hole will take up space, but provide no grip. Usually black tape should be used. Protection tape on the back of the thumb has pretty much taken the place of this in the past few years. White tape in the front of the thumb hole will provide grip while taking up space, but it also will lengthen your span a bit. The more pieces, the more the span changes.
