@caifan200 It is required for you to go through HAZWOPER training for groundwater sampling so you know how to protect yourself from the Contaminant in the Groundwater and/or soil.
Great job on the improvised flow through cell. Personally I like the Hana 9828 multi parameter probe with it's 100 ml flow through cell. I normally do low-flow purging instead of 3 well volumes which is more concerned with minimum draw down.
Also, was that a 4 inch diameter well? You may want to check your math for well volumes. I take the # of feet and X by 0.041 then multiply the diameter of the well squared.
Example: 4 in well with 7.25 ft water column, 7.25 X 0.041 X 4^2 = 4.76 gal.
dtw - total depth x .65 = casing volume for 4"
.16 for 2'
1.47 for 6"

@caifan200 It's pretty typical to do HAZWOPER training before doing any type of this work. ;) Have fun doing the 40 hours. Bring snacks

Do you have to go trough the hazwoper training before you allowed to perform water sampling?

Ive seen manholes that say observation well, is that what that is?
