Is This Just Fantasy? Rock Band 3 Achievement/Trophy One Player Version 2

When I did the first video and tested it all worked 100% for me. I've since been told that some of the higher pitches weren't registering properly though.

To fix this I've lowered the very highest sections down an octave so that some of the speakers that were having trouble hitting the high notes don't have to go so high. This works 100% in the exact same way in testing for me, but for others who couldn't manage 100% before say this video worked on the missing segments for them.

Finally, I have added a link to another video I created that hits the blue lines as well. Using another computer and a bit of patience this means you really don't have to do... well... anything. Just hit play on them both at the same time and watch YouTube do the work for you!

I'd like to thank OmniSonic for pointing out the main part that was being missed, and giving me other sections that didn't hit as well as they could. He's saved me a lot of testing, so thanks a whole bunch!

If you're still having problems then let me know the section of the song (Preferably with the lyrics of the part so I can better identify it) and the harmony that is missing in the comments below. I am happy to edit this video until everybody who wants this achievement has this achievement!

Here are the instructions copied and pasted from the last video.

"This video will allow you to unlock the achievement for hitting all triple awesome sections in Bohemian Rhapsody on Rock Band 3 with only one person. However, it will still require three microphones.

Place two microphone against two different computer or headphone speakers. Start up Bohemian Rhapsody on medium harmony vocals and just as the first line of the song is about to start press play on this video. Sing the blue part of the song and your other two microphones should be hitting the other sections. Providing you hit all your lines, the goal should unlock at the end of the song.

If the microphones are missing their lines you will have to mess around with the volume on your system, the spaces between the microphones and speakers or try different microphones altogether. Unfortunately, this is the best we can do until Harmonix add the microphone sensitivity slider back. If the line that is being consistently missed for you is hitting the majority of the section then you may be able to use your own voice to get a bit more extra credit, you shouldn't have to do this in most cases though.

@GamingMaster100 It's obviously a problem with your sound equipment/microphones, and if it didn't work the first run through then why did you keep trying for FOUR hours? I really don't think I'm to blame for your your own time management issues...

@RyRyanRobo why would my rock band mics wont work then?? they should be the same as any other mics.

@GamingMaster100 It's not just aimed at the microphone but your own systems speakers too. If they aren't of high enough quality or there isn't reasonable distance between them then you will come across those kind of problems. You should also try to turn off 3D sound or similar settings on your sound card for best effect.

A lot of people are missing this, so I'll add it in annotations.

I swear this is probably the hardest achievement in the history of achievements. I can't even tell what I'm supposed to sing, never mind actually sing it.

With other songs, I can at least listen to them enough to figure out how the harmonies go. Queen on the other hand has such amazing vocal talent that despite the fact that this is the number one most played song on my iPod, I still don't know how the harmonies go.

@ncombs1986 that is exactly what was happening to me also, and it turned out I had a "Speaker fill" option turned on in my speaker configuration in windows. It was mixing sound from both channels in a level that I couldn't honestly detect by ear, but I checked it out just to be sure and bingo, that was it.

Got this to work with 2 computers 3 mics and less than an hour of work. Does anyone know if there are videos like this to beat the solo tour on Rock Band 1 on expert?

I was having trouble with RyRyanRobo's videos on YouTube, so I took his videos and modified them slightly. The "Blue" is me singing, with RyRyanRobo's original audio very quietly in the background. The "Orange & Brown" is RyRyanRobo's original video, but I recorded one small part of it, and I also removed the background noise from the parts of the song that don't have any Orange or Brown parts.

Can you do every other song in rock band 3 like this? I'm trying to beat the vocal harmony challenges (always double awesome, every triple awesome, and triple awesome...usually). Could you do that please?

@Subareed You need 3 mics and can sing one part if you want. These 2 vids cover all three parts, but you'll need multiple sources to play all three (a pc can only play two through the two speakers).

About 2:30 of the song I ALWAYS miss a yellow part. I just need 1 single fucking part to finish the achievement. Maybe I buy new speakers to try, because I already changed the mic position one each other and the yellow part still miss :/
