  • 1:09 what? they send you back home if your late?

  • @lazarra101 nahhh, i just meant late at night. like arrive at boot camp at 11pm it will be a lot harder off for you cuz they keep you up all night, opposed to if you arrive in the afternoon, where i hear you get to sleep that night. it depends on how many people arrive thoughtout the day, cuz they need a certin amount of people to fill the bus.

  • The Navy bootcamp is only 8 weeks? I thought it was 12

  • @XRubixCube negitive ghostrider, it is only 8 weeks long. flys by too.

  • your size is doesn't matter, everyone is the same, the guy who weights 200 and 6'3" will just be suffering as bad as you trust m. you will only swim one in boot camp, and if you don't pass your swim qual, you are a fucking idiot. it is so easy. jump off a 10 into water, swim 50 yds, and stay afloat for 5 min. really easy. the hardest part for me was the first night. they keep you up all night and the next day, no sleep. yelling at you. get through the first night, you will get through boot camp.

  • My boyfriend is in Great Lakes for Basic right now,

this video really helped me understand what he's doing while he's there.

  • @TheUnscriptedTimes anytime.... be sure to write him EVERY day. letters are gold in boot camp. i have never been so excited to get a letter until i went to boot camp. just tell him about the positive things in you day, tell him how much you have been thinking of him and miss him. it is little things like that will really brighten his day. NOTHING NEGATIVE, he is dealing with enough negative bullshit. Always keep it positive. Hope this also helps...

  • @spncrbutters soooooooooooooooo not true dude. yes there are some parts of the military that are pretty dumb, but in the end it is worth it. Right now for me it is just like a normal job at the age of 19. i go to work at 7, and i am done by 3 everyday. i really like it, and i think it is kinda funny how you say its not worth it, your whole family is proud of you, and you have a steady pay check with nice benefits. that is my take on it............

Oh trust me , I def. write EVERYDAY! He's been gone since november 15th & I started writing before he left. I sent a couple letters with him when I said my goodbye at MEPS. I've sent two everyday (same envelope) , Sometimes only one , sometimes more. Just depends on how busy my day was. Lol.

Thank you sooo much! I can't wait to see him.

With the adopt a sailor program for christmas... I also get to see him on christmas , then again for his graduation , January 14th! ((:
