The Republicans controlled the Congress for 12 years, 8 of them with a president from their own party. Now the majorities are gone. Did they get the boot because they were doing too good a job?

the democrats are the ones in trouble now. I think in the next 2-4 yrs they could lose one chamber of congress. i think that by 2013 the Dem's will retain a majority in congress, but only a slim majority. the white house will be up for grabs.
