The Bhutnese refugees living in Nepal are Nepali
They are frm Nepal.their Forefathers were Nepali
The Nepali Government knows that but still dey are not willing to take back their people
More 90% of the refugees in those camps haven't even been to Bhutan
dey are there becoz of the free food they get there from the World Food Programme
Bhutan has never insulted Nepal or criticised Nepal's political system
Der is a great difference between Bhutan and Nepal
Plez Dont reveal Facts that are not True

As great as this idea is - the real proof will be after 50 years of democracy in Bhutan - we'll see how long before GNH falls prey to those in power who co-opt what the Dragon King built because THEY want a Mercedes. Likely because some corporate colonialist comes in and infects them with greed.

GNH = ethnic cleansing
GNH= 1/6 population refugee
GNH= Compulsion to follow the lifestyle of Nalongs
GNH= enforcing the dress-code and Dzonkha as National Language.
GNH= Obligating our Sharshop youths to spend their life as a monk

Just to reveal the one more fact of Bhutan ; Do you know more than hundred thousand Bhutanese refugee live in Nepal. Primary reason why they were forced to leave their own country by their king was they were Nepali speaker and most of them were educated(educated people could potentially revolt against their king).So Bhutan is not as colorful nation as it seems like

@btrules Colour it any way you like, I'm not trying to be partisan. Yes, it has the potential to be an oppressive tool for any group.

@PoledniceWP Or for militant secularists to push their beliefs onto other communities.
I can imagine how difficult it is to bring up a video of big subject like GNH Gross National Happiness into 3minutes video, very well done and Congratulations.
I m sure lots and lots of people will understand GNH better and practice in their respective country. Tashi Delek from Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan.

@lululuvu there's a grand total of 33 factors involved in measuring GNH, not three, so i mean...
the idea of measuring GNH is a great one in my opinion. may need some time to iron out exactly how to "measure" happiness, but you dont think that basing societal development on its citizens' happiness is a good idea??
